If it's a 'crappy' PSU then it's very likely not to have 46Amps on the 12 volt rail :/

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

The better statement/question would be 'What PSU is it specifically?'

Spoiler

Well it is an "Ultra". It was like 20$. I highly doubt that it is either 600w or 46A. But it that's what it claims. It has run a 650 ti boost before this. So it's probably somewhat close to what it claims.

I wouldn't trust powering a 1060 through that tbh :P

Buy a new PSU. If you can't afford both, buy a cheaper GPU like a 470 and a new GPU.

If I have a 600w PSU and 46a on the 12V Rail. I should be fine with a 1060 using a molex to 8-pin right? I have a crappy PSU that only comes with 6 pin connectors so that is the reason I'm doing this. Thanks.

It's not quite that simple. Since Molex is rated for just 45W, the connecting wires or the solder joints may be too thin to carry the 75W that the GPUs are specified to draw over the 6-pin. It can melt the insulation and whatnot. The GPU can also cause the voltage to droop at the devices actually using the Molex/Sata power. However, what you can safely do is combine two 6-pins into a single 8-pin. 75W+75W=150W Easy-peasy! This is all assuming your HW actually adheres to ATX and EPS specs.

Also, I'm a bit baffled. The GTX1060 has a single 6-pin by default. You have a single 8-pin, I guessed?

Although I dont know much on the topic, I would say go get a power supply which is atleast $40. Because at that point they come with enough connectors to connect to gpu's like yours also I wouldnt trust a PSU for $20, especially when I am not in a position to just go out and buy a new pc just like that.
