Question about FD Core 3000

Are the hard drive cages in the front of the Core 3000 BOTH removable?

I want to install an SSD and HDD inside the 5.25" bay up top, and get rid of the hard drive cages to make room for more airflow. Would I just need to unscrew the the top and bottom, or is the bottom one permanently attached?

There's no information on how the lower drive cage is attached to the case, darn. I can't find any pictures on the net of that angle of the case either.

Hopefully I don't have to sheer or grind anything away to get it out :/

Lower case is held in using rivets. You can remove them, but haven't tried it myself (built four computers with that case, great for the price).

EDIT: yes, you need to use something like a drill to remove them. I don't know much about that though.
