Its depends what board. My b150m overclocks ram and CPU via bclk. Even non k cpus.

Hi,

I just bought a b150m pro-vd motherboard which supports ddr4 2133 ram, but I bought 2666 ram as it was on a discount. Does the b150m mobo support transfer rates higher than 2333mhz, or is it strictly limited?

Thanks, all help much appreciated

If you had bothered to read the specs that MSI has listed on their webpage you would already know that: "DDR4 2133 MHz and higher memory modules will only run at maximum of DDR4 2133 MHz on XMP mode due to Intel® chipset limitation"

It is okay to ask, but seriously RTFM.

To RGB, or not to RGB? That is the question.

How is this quicker!? It literally took me less than a minute to figure that out.
