MasterAir Maker 8 RAM Clearance

Hello,

 

Does anyone know the maximum RAM height for the Cooler Master MasterAir Maker 8 when using 120mm fans?

I found 44 or 45mm with the included 140mm fans, but I would probably use the shroud to use the 120s I have.

Unfortunately I have not found anything about how the included 120mm adapter affects RAM.

Which RAM you are going to be using? You will loose some performance with smaller fans.

 

Anyway, from what I see, brackets hold fan close to top of cooler. So since 120mm fans is 20mm smaller than 140mm, you should have 15-20mm more room.

Or you can go with ram which doesn't have massive heatspreader and use coolers own fans.
