Hey guys

im new to this forum and came here seeking for help. i intend to change my graphic card on my prebuilt pc that i bought from HP. these are my specs https://gyazo.com/55fff49a9092201cdde77df390f4f240 i know its hella bad thats why i wanna just change the card i dont have lots of time so i dont bother to upgrade entire pc. I was reading on internet how to do and such and there were saying that manufacturers like hp dell tend to lock the bios or some of that kind which makes it not work to change card, since im new to tech i have no idea how this works and would like to ask would it work if i were to replace my current graphic card with a gtx 1050 ti.

it doesnt require any connectors except a pcie 16 its a 75 watt card the 1050 ti and its very small so it fill fit my only concern is that it wont boot and instead have issues with motherboard and bios or that kinda shit im no tech expert thats why im scared. so will there be no bios problem ?

You already have a gpu in there and it works. Apple is the only manufacturer that would actually lock their computers to not accept non-apple labelled gpus. Given that you cant replace the gpu in any macs anymore, this is not a concern.

In any case you should be fine. Just double check that the psu is at least 300W please.

When in doubt, re-format.
