Im looking for one for a lower power, lower budget build.

Dont go cheap on PSU. Its a good investment especially if you're planning to use your PC long term. Go for EVGA G2.

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600k 4.4GHz | Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z270F Gaming | Cooler: Cryorig H7 | RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 8GB 2x4 3200 MHz | GPU: MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X | PSU: Seasonic G-550w 80+ Gold Certified, Semi Modular | Storage: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO, 1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue | Case: NZXT S340 Elite (Black/Red) | Monitor: BenQ XL2411 144hz | Keyboard: Corsair STRAFE RGB Cherry MX Silent | Mouse: Corsair M65 Pro RGB

I'd like to make a Chemistry joke, but all the good ones ARGON. *nudgenudge *winkwink

The Jupitor Power 600W (ATX-JP600W) is a Andyson "AD-F620A2-36 (YY)", same as the Roswill Glacier M, Aerocool K-CAS and Strike-X

The Jupitor Power 800W (ATX-JP800W) is an unknown OEM.

The Jupitor Power 1000W (ATX-JP1000W) is an Andyson "AD-K1000AE-D6"

The rest I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole since they are not 80plus certified.

I'm also putting together a build. So many places i've looked at online point to the EVGA G2 models (i'm putting a 750w in only because for some reason the 650w isn't available in my country).

Had looked at the Seasonic Prime 650w, but the G2 is much cheaper.

I dont need that much wattage for my build. With 430 watts im good. I just need to know about an affordable yet efficient power supply

EVGA G2 550W my friend. It has 7 years warranty.

How do i know if a power supply is of good quality? Are apevia ones of good quality?

You read reviews of it or of the unit it's based on. If you can't find anything about them then don't buy them. That said, check out the PSU whitelist in my signature before buying a PSU.

What are the specs of the system you're powering?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
