I need a new CPU

Go to solution Solved by GDRRiley,

http://pcpartpicker.com/product/PnxfrH/amd-cpu-fd6300wmhkbox that will do better but I would recomend waiting for new cpus to come out from intel/amd or get a use fx8300

I need to get an upgrade for my computer.  I want to be able to play Watch Dogs 2 but my CPU doesn't meet the requirements, I currently have an A6-7400k.

Few things first.

  1. It has to be AM3+
  2. My price range is about 80-90, but can be made somewhat more flexible if needed.
  3. I know absolutely nothing about OCing

wait for zen, dont bother with am3+ or buy used intel system

i have to use AM3+ because at the store i go to, they have an offer where i can get the motherboard for $5.  I wont be able to afford an upgrade other ways.

personally   I would wait for zen  beginning of this next yr to see what Ithe has to offer. but if you want a  cheep grade now on the cheap fx8350 is a good cheap solution for am3+.  I have been running most games one high to ultra with a gtx 780sc at 1080p 70+fps   with no over clock.
