I just got my HyperX Cloud stinger headset and when i plugged it in my motherboard (Msi Z170 Krait Gaming 3x) and I got terrible static. I tried reinstalling the Realtek Hd audio drivers, then installing the drivers from the Realtek website with no luck. :( I haven't used the on board audio before on it. Its not the headphones I tried them on my phone and they work great. Any tips? Also would this external adapter sound good? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IRVQ0F8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A29Y8OP2GPR7PE Its all I can afford right now.

Was this on the front or rear panel jacks? You should use the rear panel if at all possible.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
