i have a msi r9 280 gaming edition and when i try to overclock with afterburner it works just how it should work:

Coreclock 1150

Memory clock 1350

Powerlimit +0%

When i try Firestrike the overclock works and i get a better score.

But somehow the overclock goes away and it goes to Coreclock: 827 even though i set to be overclocked and restarting my pc doesn't work.

I had this before and i deleted and installed new drivers after that it worked for a day or two.

Does anyone know why?

PSU: Cooler Master GM G550M

Mobo: msi a970 g46

no afterwords maybe because i played bf1 and the gpu couldn't handle the overclock?

Is the GPU clock low when you are playing BF1 or after when you are just sitting on your desktop or browsing the internet? Did you make sure to save your overclock to a profile in afterburner?
