So I need a computer that will last me for a long time but with liquid cooling I am a little iffy because I am worried that a leak could occur and screw up the whole build and put me out of $2,000. So my question is what is the odds of a liquid cooler leaking and is it worth the risk sense I NEED it to last.

Build for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/imrobert5/saved/

If you are too lazy to click the link its a I7-6700K and  Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

AIOs leaking is extremely rare, but they can gradually lose performance over a long time. If you're really worried about longevity, a good aircooler would be a better choice as there's generally less to go wrong.

Is there a good aircooler that would be able to handle me OC a 6700K

Things like the Noctua NH-D15, Phanteks PH-TC14PE and bequiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 will perform on par or better than a lot of 240mm AIOs.

You also have some smaller options like the Phanteks PH-TC12DX which will also handle an OC 6700K easily.

Get a cooler with a solid warranty if you're worried about longevity; my NZXT one came with six years, which by that time I'll probably have a whole new system anyway. @Oshino Shinobu made a good point about air coolers, but there's still some risk because a bearing can go out just as easily as a pump can, just depends on quality and how much you wanna spend. At least in my experience. Both would do the job if all you're worried about is keeping it cool, but longevity can be debatable sometimes so just get a good warranty with whatever you decide to get.

While it's true that fans can definitely fail, the warranty coverage is less important with an air cooler IMO. Besides physical damage, there's not really a whole lot that can fail with an air cooler. If a fan fails, you just replace it for $20 or so. If a pump fails on an AIO it's typically a whole unit replacement/repair and not a cheap fix.

Well its not that I'm worried about the cooler lasting that long (but actually now that I have read these comments I guess I am and will probably switch to a air cooler), I was just more worried about the cooler leaking and messing up the whole system, but if an air cooler is just as good, last longer, and doesnt have the worry of messing up EVERYTHING in my PC with a small leak, then I will 100% go for an air cooler.

Touche my good man, didn't think of it from that perspective.

Also true. I concede my point

So I have one last question, you've given me a list of air coolers that are just as good (or better), I'm not somewhere where I can currently look at these are there any of these that will look good in a side panel because I need to make sure it doesn't look ugly haha.

It's a subjective thing of course, but personally I think the Cryorig R1/R1 Universal is one of the best looking coolers at the moment. Dark Rock Pro 3 is also nice, but it's a PITA to fit! If you aren't in a rush and want to wait, Cryorig are releasing the H7 Quad Lumi within the next few months.

System: Ryzen 7 5800X - Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master - Noctua D15S Chromax - 32GB 3600 RAM - EVGA Black 2080Ti

I have to finish it in the next couple weeks so I dont have the time to wait :/. I have a corsair 750D case though which is a large tower case, so I believe anything should fit.

OK cool. Well my choice would be the Cryorig R1. You really can't go wrong there, it's pretty much tied with the King of air coolers, the Noctua DH15, but looks a whole ton better IMO!
