Hey everyone, I am currently in the middle of making my first gaming PC and I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a GPU that would suit my build.

http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/list/zMvM3F

I was looking at the Sapphire Radeon RX 480 4GB NITRO+ 4G Video Card. But again, I am an amateur when it comes to picking parts, also I was hoping to find a GPU that stays quiet when not under load if possible.

Depends on the display you'll be using, the 1060 is good for 1080p, the 1070 is good for 1440p or high refresh 1080p

Overwhelmed by the helpful responses, thank you everyone :)
At this point it is a tossup between my original choice of the RX 480 vs. a GTX 1060 6GB. Sadly a 1070 is outta my price range at this point in time. If I were to choice from the above two GPU's, which one would be better (mainly 1080p gaming at this point)

I would 480 4GB today, because it's significantly cheaper than a 1060, but that will depend on NZ prices. I've seen people hit 1500 on air before (albeit with a great chip) so overclocking should yield at least decent performance increase.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here
