1440p Size

So, I'm debating on what monitor to get. The ASUS PB258Q 25" and BenQ GW2765HT 27". Both ips. If it matters, I game mostly and do some work on my computer. What would be the best size for the best looking image?

Personally, 27" 1440p is the way to go. Absolutely no display scaling required. The 25 might be ok for you but the extra couple inches really make the difference here...

Will the pixel density look the same?

The pixel density on the 25" is ~117 PPI, the 27" will be ~108 PPI. In other words, practically no appreciable difference.

 

For reference a 24" 1080p monitor is 91 PPI and 100% scaling is fine on a 27" 1440p monitor.

pixel density is a function of the physical size of the monitor, compared to its resolution. If you have the same number of pixels on a smaller screen, the density will be higher.

Don't base desktop monitor purchases on pixel density though, since even the 27" one will give you a very good picture such that you wont be able to "see the pixels" unless youre like 5 inches away.

How's the bezel in  person?

bezels are almost an inch wide, so not as thin as the pb258q

Personally, I would just get an ultrawide. But, thank you. I'm going to pick up the BenQ within the next week.
