ok first of all i hope im in the right forum thing. if not let me know where i should move this. so when downloading from steam im getting 600kb/s. i called att and they swear that even tho i am paying for 5 mb/s that is only streaming and downloading. and when i am "downloading" from the internet or steam or psn thats called transfer speed and its 1/3 of what we pay for. is there anyone out there that knows if this is BS and i can boost my steam download speed because it takes so long to download games. if it isnt BS and i cant change anything let me know so i can look to other internet providers cuz im paying way to much for shitty internet. thanks guys. ps yes im running wired and i have a brand new router/motem comp and they ran brand new lines from my house to the box by the road. so all that is new. and im suremy filter is brand new as well the speed test says im getting the full 5mb/s download and like 3kb/s upload. so not sure what else you need to know but let me know and ill let you know ^^
