Fallout 4 Archive settings not working

Iv completely created a new install of fallout and began modding however all the required fixes for mods to take effect aren't working

1. [Archive]
    bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
    sResourceDataDirsFinal=

Iv set archive options in the custom ini and the sResourceDataDirsFinal= in fallout4.ini is set to equal blank 

 

2. [Launcher]
    bEnableFileSelection=1

Also set in fallout4prefs ini 

 

3.I'v also installed fallout4 script extender though could this be the cause? Might not be needed for mods right now but i installed it out habit 

 

all ini files aren't set to read only

If you're using Windows 10 and have OneDrive set to back-up your documents folder, your .ini files will be under OneDrive/Documents/My Games/Fallout4 (or similar)

I've had the same thing happen after reinstalling Windows a couple months ago and spent AGES trying to figure out. Only discovered it by accident when I was trying to find a couple of mods I made myself (nothing big, just removed some static objects that were in my way in a few settlements)

Windows 7 with no sorts of back ups for the document folder currently

Safe to assume you're using NMM (Nexus Mod Manager), right?

yea sorry i should have mentioned that im using nmm its detected all the files in their locations

Plugins txt is detecting them yet theyre still not functioning in game

*FIXED* after a long few hours i found the problem was because i switched the game directory and the mod install directory hadnt updated too
