I was looking to get a decent microphone for sqype, teamspeak and recording guitar and youtube gaming. What desktop would you suggest? also what is the difference between the snowball and the snowball ice because the snowball looks like its specs are better but the ice is more expensive??

Actually it is the snowball which would actually be better and it don't have two microphones, it has two capsules. It also has different pick up patterns, which can be useful if you want to remove background noise for example, you can put it to cardioid which picks up less noise from rear and sides of a microphone. That's really all it has over the ice. The ice is probably has a more expensive capsule which is why it is priced higher. Personally I would go with the normal snowball and save a buck or two and it has more features you will probably use. If you are in the UK I would buy the Yeti as it is currently £4 cheaper than a Snowball on Amazon and has a gain control on the front which is very useful.
