Really slow windows

Windows 10 is really slow its so slow i cant boot after putting in my password when i do boot i cant go on edge cos it doesnt load

Do a virus scan.

 

Reinstall windows.

 

Get an SSD.

Defrag the disk. My laptop has a SSHD in it. And if it get near 10% fragmented Windows 10 runs like dog shit. Or you can do what @Unexas. said and get an SSD and be done with it. I have an SSD in my desktop. No Windows 10 performance issues plus you dont have to defrag and SSD, doing so will destroy it. So basically SSD = Faster with less bull shit.  

 

To go to the defrag page. Go to your file manager and right click the HDD and select properties. MS now calls it Optimizing. It could take hours, so be aware.
