Will it work

Go to solution Solved by NannerBeans,

I think everyone here is missing the point of this thread. He already owns the gpu and that amount of money won't get you anything better so there is really no point in debating that. That build looks fine. Go for it. I'm sure if he was able to get an i3 6100 he would but that's much more expensive.

It should, although I'm pretty sure the X4 isn't on the FX cpu's only athlons, but yeah, I'd probably go for an athlon 860k though. There isn't much of an upgrade path but going with AMD will give you little upgrade path anyway.

If this is a new build though you would be better off getting an amd apu like the a10 7860k rather then that though.

Better gpu performance.

Similar cpu performance.

Plus it will be cheaper, and use less power.

and amd x4 is an old cpu.

also how much is ur budget?

1st i have storage

2nd i need a quad core

3rd budget is around 200 euro and the reason that i put a GT730 is that i have one in my dell

1-okay

2.I3-6100 is a dual core but will perform better than the FX 4300 and consume less power. also lga1151 is more futureproof. but if u dont have the money then its allright

3.If u have one then its no problem just dont buy one.

What about an apu instead of a gpu?
