Need some advice on this build. It'll be used mostly for 1080p gaming at high settings. Mostly AAA games like BF1, Gears of War, etc. I know the 8320e is old as balls but it's not that terrible and I don't think it'll do to bad with the 1060. I can also get it with a motherboard for $110. I'll probably get kabylake in 6-10 months so... Any advice is appreciated. (I already have a hard drive so I'm just getting a ssd for the OS)

You're probably not going to need 650 watts for that system, get a good 550 watt and see if you can get a better price. I would get a 6600 and a MSI h110M gaming its a great motherboard for budget gaming, However it has no overclocking on it hence the 6600 which you will pay less for.

And yes the 1060 should be fine it can run most games, I even saw the 1050ti run BF1 in high at 60fps.

120gb ssd is very low, you will fill it up in weeks. Get a HDD instead and save up for ssd later down. so far is fine

If i were you i would go for an I5, the single threaded performance of the old FX lineup from AMD is just dreadful. Going for the "cheapest" skylake I5 will give you much more value for your $ and i would recommend extending your budget somewhat.

You should rather buy an SSHD instead of an SSD, that way you get more GB for your $, and should suite a budget build nicely. :P

Grab a cheaper PSU so you can afford yourself a bigger SSD. The FX + motherboard is a pretty amazing deal. Are you sure you want to buy the $60 case?

i wouldnt spend $60 on a case with $550 budget. You spend around $30 on a case and you'd be fine, $30 can do a big change for a system. Also since you are at micro center, look for deals, look at the open box area, find decent deals. Micro center has them.
