CS600M or AX1200

In my main rig i have a CS600m psu from corsair, it has been going strong for about a year and a half.

But just yesterday i got an AX1200 Powersupply basically for free, not been used in 3 years so i think its still in good condition¨.

So i was just wondering if it was worth changing the psu, as the AX1200 is a couple years old.

Well you won't really see a difference but the AX1200 is the better PSU hands down.

If you don't need that PSU, i'd recommend selling it. If you do not want to, then yeah, won't hurt. May be able to achieve a higher OC or something.

The AX1200 is one fucking hell of a power supply. Beats the shit out of the CX600M (what I'm assuming you meant) and the CS650M (a possibility of what you meant?).

If you feel it's excessive, you can sell it. If you don't feel like selling it, I'd use it.

Any psu over 1200watts should do.

Yeah its the cx model.

If its still such a good psu today, ill put it in as i will be getting a 1080ti soon (if it ever comes)
