If you have a garage which is dry, put it in there. It will be colder than the rest and no one lives in it so the noise won't matter.

My mom actually uses the garage as an office like thing so ...

Do you have a moat filled with crocs? No one will steal it there.

Hide it inside a grand piano.

You could put it in the centre of a maze filled with deadly traps.

You could put it inside a rocket so if someone tries to steal it, it will jettison to safety

This isn't a question we can answer for you.  We don't know how big your server is, is it just a tower doing server tasks or is it a rack unit?  What are it's power demands?  We don't know the ideal locations in your home that are out of the way but accessible and what areas of your home have power.  Like, someone said 'closet' but for all we know, your most suitable closet will need a 25 foot extension cord running down a hall.
