Hi

Would anyone perhaps know when the EVGA set of 3GB 1060s come to germany more specifically amazon.de

Theyre already all around in the UK and such so im just a little confused as to their mainland release. The internet as usual holds 0 answers when i try looking this stuff up. I was soo desperate for an answer i even tried bing.

Any insight is greatly appreciated ty.

Logistically simpler. also not the model i was eying, its strange cus almost all the big tech retailers in germany which havent screwed me over which is 2 (cyberport and amazon) dont have any 1060 3gb from evga. im not sure if its just them or if there is a release time.

You might be able to find one on the US website that has free shipping.

Pretend the 3GB version of the 1060 doesn't exist. that's a great solution, and the way it should've been

Well quite frankly (and were talking team green here) its my only option, the 1050ti is shite and the 1060 6gb is too expensive. its suprising that at this rate we cant have a nice range of choices to choose from to have a nice visually pleasing and well performing rig without going into debt.

The 1050Ti is NOT shit

I agree that there should be something in that range, (200USD) but honestly, 3GB of VRAM is ridiculous, especially because the 1050Ti has 4GB

the 1060 name sucks, and it should be named differently (GTX 1060 → GTX 1060Ti, GTX 1060 3GB → GTX 1060?)

also, the RX480 is better than the 3GB 1060, so it's not even worth it

Comparing 1060 to the 1050ti you can see a stark difference in performance and quite frankly 3gigs bothered me at first but its not that big a deal. the 1050ti is just not worth upgrading to imo from the benchmarks ice seen. i have a 1080p monitor at which were a 1050ti could average at about 45fps the 1060 3gbcan at around 70fps. AMD for me is off the table it just is, i prefer nvidias features im just getting rather annoyed with their desiscions as of recent.

Well for you, the 1050TI might not be a good choice, but for some people, it's a godsend. its a great card for upgrading prebuilts with weak PSUs that have no 6-pin connectors

I agree im not here to shit on the 1050ti its just not worth it if you have a 750ti alreadyand are looking for 970 performance at decent prices i.e. the 1060 3gb it practically is a 970.

And again quite frankly ive had it with rrp's. i wish ppl could actually stick to the prices. usd means nothing as i am in the eurozone which likes to shit on everything that comes from the US cus for whatever reason they think republicanism and trickle down economics actually works so now the only way any foreign investors can get money is through import duties making everything a whole lot more expensive the further away from WTC you go
