Is this a good camera deal?

I am currently looking for a camera and I came across this  http://www.adorama.com/ipcdmcg7b.html#source=productOptions

and it seems pretty good deal comes with a kit lens and a gift card. Is it a good camera? Is it worth it? Should I wait for black Friday?

Yeah it looks pretty good. from looking at some reviews from trusted review and c-net, the image quality seems pretty good, and the kit lens is actually descent. Especially for the price, this is a great deal. While the 4K video capture will not be that great, It would be descent enough for casual users.

When does this deal end, because it's a $500 price on something that normally costs $800.  Now the only thing is that the G7 is a camera that's roughly one and a half years old and there is already a successor called the G85/G80.  So I wonder if it's an actual savings or a precursor to a price drop.

 

Well even if it is a precursor to a price drop due to the release of a newer model, I don't think the price drop would be $300, in my opinion.

Of course 4K video will not be that great, but compared to other 4K cameras of the same price range or level, it's fairly competitive.

Thanks bro. Do you have any recommendations for a camera around $300 USD? That takes good pictures and video?

I think I've seen you ask about cameras quite a number of times... the G7 is a good camera and Adorama is already giving a good deal.  No camera that costs less is going to beat the G7.
