need some help,

i want to copy my bluray disks onto my computer into a format that i can easily use such as  mp4, so i can watch them over my network or on my laptop without having to carry disks, dose anyone have any ideas of the best software to use??

Cannot do this without breaking the LTT forum's rules. You are allowed to make backup copies of disks, but that depends on your local laws. I know that my local laws do allow this. The problem with blueray media is they have an encryption system that causes any attempts to copy the disc to spill out nonsense. Every now and then a OEM f***s up and we get to see a glimpse of what the blueray hardware does, and a crack gets released, but its generally pretty hard to beat. I've only been able to convert older DVD movies.

 

When you say RIP blueray you're right; its better to put make your purchases on google play or iTunes. You bought a disc and you paid for the right to use the disc; unfortunately that is where your rights end :(
