I plan on building this pc http://pcpartpicker.com/list/h3nhKZ

A few questions: will parts be cheaper on black Friday or cyber Monday?

Should I be worried about overheating and fan direction or should I be fine? (it will be on a  desk not carpet, I promise) Also, any part improvements and personal opinions?

I would skip a cooler. i5 6500 already has a stock cooler and is quite enough + will cool parts fine for you

Why not a monitor with IPS panel? Should not be that more and great color too.

No one knows if black friday or cyber monday is cheaper. Look for both of them

Alright I'll just use the stock cooler. Do you think that there will be overheating in the case though? And could you suggest some good monitors? I'm bad at finding them.

It isnt worth the headache of stupid people running for crap and mowing down innocent customers.

I say if you really want it, buy it now.

If you want to save $1 and get a headache, then wait.

I'm buying it all online, because I live in the countryside and there aren't microcenters or anything for miles. There are usually sales online for parts, but I'm not sure which will be better.

A better CPU, a much better GPU, twice as much mass storage, and a vastly superior 1440p monitor instead. It's also only about $120 more expensive than your build, and it's more than worth the extra money

The only compromises are the inferior (but still very good) mouse that comes with the keyboard bundle, and a slightly lower-end motherboard (you don't need the additional features unless you plan to overclock).

But that's like 300 dollars more and I don't want or need a better gpu,  monitor,  cpu, and I don't know if that ssd is better. I am also only buying my parts on Amazon, because the shipping is amazing and i personally feel it's worth the small extra bits of money.  Plus, I've wanted a fancy keyboard and mouse for a long time, and refuse to go with a keyboard mouse combo.

300 dollars more? You need to check your math.

This is your build- note that only your mouse is from Amazon.

I'll admit that I was off- I had rebates turned off when I looked at your build.

$1168.9 is $147.53 more than $1021.37 (roughly $150). Furthermore, if you're getting vastly superior performance and a much better monitor for roughly the same price, it means it represents better value, or price-to-performance.

EDIT: Wait until Black Friday for great discounts on better peripherals. I daresay you should be able to pick up a mechanical keyboard and a much better mouse for cheap.

What will the PC be used for mainly?

Playing graphic intensive AAA games, writing papers/school presentation making. I'm going to college next year and I want as small a Pc as possible because I don't want it to take up a lot of room, and I am probably going to Lan parties. Also, my current desk is like 3 feet long, and I refuse to put my computer on the ground.
