Hello I would like to make a Minecraft server (FTB Infinity Evolved). I have seen a guide on it and have made a "Port Forwarding / Port Triggering". I have also downloaded the right server and version.

When I open the game and write "Localhost" in the add server my server appears. But when I try to join via my IP address I can't. I have also opened cmd and searched for IP config and tried with my Default Gateway wich doesn't work either.

My friend have tried with the 2 IPs to but couldn't join.

I read that maybe my firewall could have blocked it (I have Panda Antivirus) and that's why me and my friends can't join. But I don't have any idea what to look for when looking in the firewall settings or if it's something different. So if you have an idea what it could be or what it's please write.

Sorry if my English is bad.

You are supposed to use local host on your machine. I am pretty sure its the only working option.

Just use it.

You have public and private IPs. Search online for you PUBLIC IP, and send them that IP with :25565 (or whatever port you used) at the end of it.

I know how that is. I about killed myself trying to fix it, but the idiot who made the router made me hit a barely visible tick. Really annoying.
