Rig looks fine for its purpose, I'd get a 512GB 950 Pro instead of the 850 EVO, you'll really like the increased speed.

No, Get either 1 1080 or 2 1080s. The Titan X for $1200 isn't worth it and 2 1080s will beat the crap out of it and cost the same.

In games where multi-GPU isn't supported, just the one 1080 will still be fine even for 4K.

Use this one

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814998131R

It's the cheapest one, but any SLI bridge that says HB (high bandwidth) will do. 2-slot spacing so each of your GPUs get a bunch of air for themselves.

They're the same thing. The cooler on both is equally capable, and they will hit virtually the same clocks.

Avoid multi GPU. So go 1080 or titan X.

Despite more fps, multi GPU can still make a game run less smooth vs a single card solution. And that is IF supported. I see no real reason for your setup to go with multi card setup.

1 1080 will give you good fps on most games, and even then you still have a screen with Gsync that helps. And if that is not sufficient, tweak some settings.

Most of these will run 100+ fps on high to ultra settings  then. It always depends on game and settings used. GTA V for example at very highest settings on 4k and maxed out is even to hard for Titan Xp SLI to get above 60 Hz while on a bit lower settings a 780 can run the game fine. Obviously thats 4k, but just to make a point that setttings on higher reso's make a ton of difference.

So with one 1080 I should be able to run these games on 1440p
