3 Prong Microphone Adapter?

I bought a microphone that has 3 prongs.  My laptop has a mutli-jack, so I bought a splitter.  Audio works fine, but when I plug the microphone into the headphone splitter it doesn't detect it.  If I connect it through the multi-jack, it works fine.

 

What adapter should I get to have this work properly?

I bought a TRRS microphone that runs uses a 3.5 mm jack.  I bought a splitter for the audio and microphone.  Audio is fine, the microphone doesn't work with the adapter (Y splitter).

Nevermind, I found a solution.  External DAC + using the the TRRS for Mic only.
