This is gonna be pretty tough. You're probably looking for a inside out tracking system where you can put markers on the drum sticks and track them with the phone's camera or something. That will be very hard to accomplish and will likely have sub-optimal results. More than one company has been working on this type of tracking for years and it's just not possible to have accurate motion tracking with a simple camera view right now. You're going to be better off using something that already has accelerometers built in, like a cheap android phone or a purpose made vr controller.
