i have a pc i got a few years back, one day i decided to get a new 1, i retired the old pc to a multiboxing box only (running multiple accounts in RPG games such as wow, rift, aion etc.

i had an issue one day when i started it, the bios splash screen took ages to go away and then it booted windows as normal, i was unable to access the bios, boot menu etc, it didnt do anything when i pressed the keys to make said actions happen, it did this for several months and i got used to it.

then it stopped all together last night, bios splash took ages, went to black screen, moments later "no input" is reported.

restart didnt help, re-seated gfx card and nothing, did same with ram, network card and moved the hdd sata cable from the the one it was in to the one next to it, still black screen no input detected, so i unplugged gfx card and turned on pc, boom it starts instantly, no worries, at this point you may say the gfx cards done for, had a good run, gg wp gtx 750 TI - use it as a brick to build a house?.

so i plugged in the 750 ti just to test it was definitely the card and BOOM it started, WHAT THE ACTUAL FRIEND IS GOIN ON!!!!!

why would it work and then stop?, and then 10 mins~ later it works normally ? i honestly think crooked linus has something to do with it but he is in canadia () and im in australia :(  and lyin luke couldnt have done it, his kankles are to sore to walk all this way...

anyone else had an issue like this ? im scared to turn off now because it may not start again lol.

should i seek legal advice from john before getting colton to contact dennis and taren to trouble shoot it ? of course we would have to get someone responsable like yvonne (i think i just carved your name into a swan :D) to oversee the work is being done and they are not knocking the lights out of the roof (taaarrennnn).

[it was my first build so the parts i used were cheap and easily replaceable if i made any mistakes so please excuse the lack of info on the model numbers]

it has a i7 2600k

mobo is a gygabyte one derp, dont know the model number but its somewhat of a gaming one

16 gig 1333mhz of unknown ram

seagate baracuda 500gb hdd

gtx 750 TI graphics card (2gb)

unknown network card 10/100/1000

onboard sound

monitor attached via hdmi and dvi (im not sure how to tell them apart but i assume it is a single link dvi cable because what else would you get for $3.50 in australia right?

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special-_-

i think that did help lol, there is something missing on the mobo, it is a white cap of some kind i have no idea what it does, but i might look at replacing the mobo because bits missing that shouldnt be is generally a bad thing :P

thanks for prompt response, i hit the booze pretty hard after work so i could troubleshoot it for a few hours and have a laugh with some mates, but this saved us the troubleshooting part, now we celebrate, MOAR BOOZE....
