Need replacement headphones

I have a pair of Kingston HyperX Cloud 2 headphones, but the 3.5mm connector has become so bent that I cannot use them for anything. I was thinking of one of four options:

1. Replace with same headset.

2. Replace with new headset (Astro A40, idk what else)

3. Replace with 64 Audio A2E Custom IEMs

4. Other option

My problem is, my current headphones survived over a year's worth of bus rides, being dropped on the ground and thrown into sports bags, all the sweat I put in them, other stuff I can;t remember right now. Their replacement must be able to survive the same, if not more punishment. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks!

Current PC: Toshiba Satellite L850D - A8-4500M - Radeon 7640M - 1TB HDD - Steelseries QcK - Logitech M325

If you wanted to, you could resolder a new connector.

Also, it might be presumptive of me to say this, but I would hold off on getting the A2e, if you decide to go with them. I ordered a pair almost two weeks ago, and I should have them in hand by Tuesday, if all goes well. Assuming it does, I could write up a short review of them to let you know if they're any good, before you spend $400 on something that you might not like.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)

Yes please, do that. I would appreciate it, as I have been looking at custom IEMs for a while as I play guitar. Thanks for offering to write a review of them as they are the lowest-end, if you can call them that. :)

No problem! They are currently sitting on the step before "buffing complete" so hopefully they'll get finished today, so I can have them in my hands tomorrow! Otherwise, I think it will be Wednesday!
