Partition Corrupted! Help!

I have a dell inspiron 620s. Recently when I booted up my pc it gave a bsod saying unmountable boot volume. On a reboot it went to repair and epaired windows partition and my pc booted normally, but my other storage partition wan not accessible . I tried windows error checking and repairing but it failed. I need to find a way to recover it and for free.please help!
