I have a ROG GL502VM gaming laptop. When I received it i learned it had G sync which i completely overlooked. After trying to use it in GTA V, i found it wasnt really helping and just shut it off and used V Sync. Later learning what G sync was supposed to do, i tried it again and still no luck. With V sync i got pretty much a 60fps lock with it only dipping to 58fps somehow. Then just right now i decided id try it again and still no luck. Plus now i cant seem to get the settings i had when it seemed to be locked at 60fps with V sync. Is there something im doing wrong? Even when i turn on G sync and turn off V sync in GTA V, I still get dips into the 30s and screen tearing.
