Will resetting remove viruses?

I seem to have a affected file at C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe which keeps trying to connect to aresoslave.xyz via many different ports, which was detected by Malwarebytes, and I suspect it's a virus of some sort but a complete virus scan did not identify it as a virus, will resetting my PC via windows settings remove this virus or do I have to completely reinstall windows? Or is this even a virus in the first place?

use TRONSCRIPT it will pretty much nuke any malicious software on your computer. It will solve your problems.

i couldn't tell you if it was a virus or not, but i can say that a reset will PROBABLY remove the virus. The only scenario where a reset wouldn't remove a virus if its a rootkit embedded in the recovery partition as well.

my recommendation is load it into a USB and use that as a "nuke" device really. ie treat it as a anti virus boot device
