I have this issue on my laptop, which is that the USB driver is waking my laptop (I think it's the driver, its called Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller or something like that). I looked for a solution online and what I found was to run an "elevated" version of command prompt (which I assumed was admin). I then ran it and typed in the command "powercfg /devicedisablewake "device name". When I typed this in, it said that I don't have the permission to do this command. Can someone help me? I'm the only account on the laptop, and I'm the admin.

Hmm. Elevated does mean as Administrator. Can you disable it in Device manager? Albeit, If I were you, I'd look into if it really is the USB controller that's waking the system up or something connected to it. Maybe unplug everything and see if it still wakes up on it's own then plug stuff back one by one to find out the culprit.

I have considered disabling it, and while that would work, my USB ports wouldn't, and I need those. Also, it's not anything that's plugged into it. One weird thing is that turning on airplane mode or being on my school network fixes the issue.

EDIT: it turns off when I have nothing plugged in, but only about half the time.

Oh, I  didn't mean disable it entirely but this: wpw_b.png

Tried that, couldn't find a power management tab for it in properties.
