Hi there!

I'm on my way to buy a new gaming rig, which is also transportable over greater distances (it should withstand a 5-10 h car ride in a suitcase on a regular basis). In my opinion everything is just fine, but I'm still worried about compatibility. Also I would like to know if there could appear any thermic problems in the small case.

Here the setup:

Case: Silverstone Sugo SG13WB Mini-ITX

Case fan:  be quiet! Silent Wings 2 PWM 140x140x25mm

PSU: 400 Watt be quiet! Pure Power 9 Modular 80+ Silver

MB: MSI B150I GAMING PRO AC Intel B150 So.1151

CPU: Intel Core i5 6500 4x 3.20GHz So.1151

CPU fan: Intel Boxed cooler (standard)

RAM: 1 x 8GB Corsair ValueSelect DDR4-2133 DIMM CL15

GPU: 3072MB Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 3G Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16

Storage: 525GB Crucial MX300 M.2

The setup is exclusivly for regular work (surfing the internet, Office etc.) and gaming.

Games are for example: Witcher 3, CoD BO3, Battlefield 1, Dota, Rocket League, Total War: Warhammer etc. and upcoming AAA titels like Mass Effect Andromeda.

My main concern is that the motherboard doesn't fit the SSD.

Also I'm glad to hear if there are any suggestions to improve the setup, without spending more money, since I'm on a budget on that rig (yeah, I know that it's the 3GB version of the gtx 1060).

Thanks for your opinions and help!

If you're traveling a lot, I would get a mobo with AC wifi built in.

Buy a 4 or 8gb rx.480. They're faster than 3gb 1060

Make a PCPartPicker list, much easier to organize costs and stuff. That build would work, but I think you should get an RX 480 4gb or 8gb which will both outperform a 1060 3GB, now and in new DirectX12 titles.

MSI GE72 Apache Pro-242 - (5700HQ : 970M : 16gb RAM : 17.3" : Win10 : 1TB HDD : Razer Anansi : Some mouse) - hooked up to a 34UM58-P (WFHD) in dual screen

Forgot to write it down. It will be the wifi version of the mobo.

That was also my thought. It's only a couple of bugs more, so that shouldn’t be a problem. But my concern was the higher TDP and thermic of the card. Also I like the GeForce experience software. But that’s definitely something I will think about, thanks.
