My build is as follows:

G4400 CPU

Asus 170A motherboard

16GB HyperX memory

EVGA 700+80B PSU

Benq T903 Monitor

This is my first build since DDR2 so be gentle on me. I'm looking for constructive criticism.

The monitor tells me there's no signal however when hooked up to another desktop it works fine with both VGA and DVI-1. So cables and monitor are all working.

All the other hardware is new and works, I intended to run with the onboard graphics for the time being. One thing to note is I do not currently have an OS and cannot access the BIOS without monitor signal.

I've tested with two motherboards, both new and had the same issue. I've also tested with several processors to no avail.

wait, are you saying that other mobo cpu comboes have the same issue?

what about the 24 pin motherboard plug?

can you try another power supply?

other than that, did you bend the cpu socket pins when installing the CPU?  (No shame, I have done this!)

The 24 pin is plugged in, and the cpu socket appears completely fine.

there are pins on the motherboard that need to be connected to the power switch on the case.  There is a wire with a 2 prong connector that should read "power sw".  That 2 prong connector should be plugged into the 2 pins on the motherboard for the power switch.  On the instructions, they mostly say "front panel"

I actually don't have a case for it yet, and I can't find a two prong connector however my mobo has an onboard power button.
