Upgrading my Gpu

Im sure someone has posted something similar but i want to make sure it will be right for me.

 

my specs are

 

athlon 860k (big air cooler, cooler master)

8gb ddr3

cx 430 psu

60gb ssd for windows

500gb hdd for everything else

 

and then what i want to upgrade. my gpu. my current is an r7 260x. im basically just looking for an upgrade. my budget is around £150, btw im in the uk, and i think my current card isnt upto scratch anymore. Ive been looking at the 1050ti but if i could i prefer a radeon card as my monitor has amd freesync.

 

I understand my cpu may bottleneck but i will probably upgrade when i get the money.

 

Any help for what card would be best would be much appriciated thanks!

1050ti would probably be best performance.

yep, thats probably the best for that price range.

You can get and RX 470 for about £20 more than your budget

I recommend the RX 470 as you have a freesync monitor.

Hmm. The rx 470 is defiantly better but it also costs more. Its about price to performance isnt it. Like i said i was trying to stay on amd "IF" possible

Thanks for all the replies guys. does it matter what card i get of an rx 470. seriously there are so many. should i just get the cheapest. does a "mini" make any difference vs a full size dual fan cooler?

It won't cool as well but it will be a lot smaller if thats what you need.

Get whatever is cheap. Mini is only smaller, no performance difference.

Apart from noise and temperature there should be no difference at all

Right. I dont think i want to go rx 460. Id rather get something like too good and then i can upgrade my cpu in the future to match the gpu. I dont want to get the 460 and then need to upgrade again soon
