I was wondering if I could connect my speakers to my amp using any of these inputs/outputs?

this is the back of my speaker:

dumb question, but is coaxial on the amp the same as the video out on my speaker? if not, how could i connect it so the audio comes from the amp?

Thanks in advance,

Sean.

That doesn't look like the back of a speaker, it looks like the back of an amp. Can I see a picture of the whole thing?

no, coax and video are not the same thing. What you need is a wire with bare connections on 1 end and RCA jacks on the other end. Basically, you can get a red/white (a cable with a red and white plug on both ends) RCA cable. cut the connections off one end (doesn't usually matter) and then strip those wires. Then wire up the red side to the red terminal and white to the white terminal on the speakers. The plug the jacks in to your amp.

Keep in mind there are 2 wires in each jack. The center wire is usually positive.

What speakers do you have?  What amp do you have?

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

No, don't do that unless you want to kill your amp if the pictures are right, the terminals are outputs, not inputs.

Becides, the RCA out are line level

the RCA at the back for my speakers are inputs, the other end is a 3.5mm jack connected to my motherboard audio jack. the output RCA for my amp is not connected to anything at the moment.

Yeah, probably, but if the pictures are right, they are both outputs.

If they are not right, the amp still won't drive the speakers to a good volume

OK, so that's an amp, not speakers.

Run RCA from the RCA out on your smsl amp to the RCA in on the speaker.

so your speakers have a amp built in.  Just use the 3.5mm jack or most motherboards have a optical output as well.

yeah, i have a separate amp for my DT770's and I want to connect my speakers so I can switch between the two.

It's not an RCA to RCA, its RCA (on my speaker) to 3.5mm jack (which is connected to my motherboard) If I connect RCA out to RCA in on the speaker, then how would I get the audio? will the audio run through my optical cable on my motherboard to the amp to the speaker?
