Hi guys,

if I am using a fan hub and plugging it in with a PWM header, do I also need the sata power?

Thanks.

Yes if the hub has sata power it must be used for PWM fans since that it gets it's power through sata and only a control signal via the 4 pin fan connection.

Cool, thanks. This'll be interesting. PSU has 6 sata connectors, and I need to power the AIO, LEDs, fan hub and 3 drives.

Yeah you can put all that one one lead or separate it if needed for better cable management and routing.
