PLasma TV POP

Hi all

 

Recently the plasma TV my family has for our Xbox ONE has had an issue.

 

It is a SONIQ QSP426TV2

 

Basically when we turn it on and start playing, after 5 mins the TV makes a loud POP and the screen goes black. About 10 seconds later it shows the last image that was sent to the TV and then shows the HDMI 1 input in the top left corner and runs fine, it is really annoying and sometimes it happens more than once. COuld someone please tell me what the problem is.

PS. BTW i am a PC gamer at heart but i use the XBOX to play games like WWE 2k17 and Forza

first of all you don't have to feel bad about playing a console. they have some pretty cool features  and about your tv, does it also happen when you watch normal stuff?

we dont use it to watch TV just the XBOX, we have a second TV which is an OLED for movies and Foxtel

it's strange. if you hear a pop i would say something like a processor explodes but then the tv would just be broken. so i'm sorry but i can't help you
