HOW DID I DO THIS

ok so i have a i7 4790 non k cpu, i switched to a i5 4690k to see if the overclock improved my performance in games it did not, then i switch back and my i5 oc is on my i7? wth i can even overclock it when i clear the cmos

i7-7700k @4.8GHz

EVGA GTX 1080Ti FTW 3

32GB corsair LPX ddr4 ram

dial in a good oc for the i7 with the i5, put the i7 back in, voila :P  verify that it works with cpu z ;)

yea i would love to see that. but somehow i don't believe you. also make the picture with your phone and dont show me a screenshot. those are easy to edit :P

i would do that but i don't want to lose the bug of somesort

according to your pics, you're only running at normal boost frequencies according to intel ark...

before it never ran above 3.8ghz now its running at 4.2ghz?

bro, it's running at a lower frequency that it would stock, might as well experiment with an actual OC. 

 

(your bus speed is higher, but your multiplier is lower - ie. nothing strange is going on here)
