Preface: Please don't just tell me to switch to OBS. I have OBS, and it's great. I'd be using it if it was capable of using NDI sources and custom stinger transitions, but for now I'm stuck with XSplit...

Here's my issue: When I'm in game while XSplit is open, even if I'm not encoding any frames, I experience massive frame rate drops in game. No idea why this happens considering that Afterburner puts my GPU usage at ~ 30% and my CPU usage at ~ 20%. That's the case for when just the game is open and when both XSplit and the game are open. XSplit seems to use almost no system resources, but I get these fps drops anyway??? Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it? Thanks.

P.S. I've had similar issues with OBS but they were linked to CPU usage and were only present when encoding frames...

Have you tried upping the program priority in task manager?

Yep, doesn't seem to help. The only thing I can think of that might be happening is XSplit is limiting the refresh rate of the game, but I don't see why that would happen...
