Doubt it.

If you arent gonna be using the mic dont browse around for gaming headsets. Koss Porta Pro are cheap and decent, might wanna grab those instead.

The Koss Porta Pro are the most overrated headphone on the web.

The JVC S400 blow these out of the water.

But I prefer the $40 Skullcandy Grind. They sound a little worse than the JVC s400 but are so comfy that I don't care. Plus the detachable cable is essential.

Actually, the Koss KSC75 sound the best out of all of these. But they're not very comfy to wear with glasses and the cable is a joke. Handle with care.

So, yeah...the Koss KSC 75 is the best gaming headphone for under $30.

If the headphone shines in playing music, it will shine in games as well. Don't get sades or any gaming headsets, get something from audio brand if possible. Unless or until you need an all in one solution like mic, usb soundcard etc.

Monoprice 8323 or Superlux 668/681 should be fine imo. But if you really want a gaming headset the Hyperx Cloud core will get the job done.

I forgot about the Superlux 681. That said, I threw my Superlux HD 681 in the garbage because the treble was so abrasive that it caused me physical pain. It's a shame because the bass was orgasmic.

No. The KSC 75. They don't look like much but they sound much better than the Porta Pro:

Ok thanks, one last thing, I just went through some forums and saw ksc 75 "Drivers". What do they mean by drivers?

Also by the way, I also wear glasses so I'm not sure whether I should get the ksc 75

Ugh...That makes things a little awkward. I have glasses too. When I used the KSC 75 I put them on and then "hanged" my glasses over the ears and headphones. I looked silly.

If comfort is an issue, then the KSC 75 are not great, not with glasses.

So...I actually found a better option:

$40, and you can buy used for less. You simply can't go wrong here. Most headphones are horribly uncomfortable (especially the KSC 75 and Superlux) in the $30 category, so this is probably your best bet.

Update: So I said screw it and went with the ksc 75 and it arrived today. I tested the headphones I was not satisfied because I could barely hear the sound effects. It was comfortable but the sound was not what I expected it to be. I could barely hear the sounds I wanted to
