I was wondering what antivirus I should download. I would prefer it be light because I don't want my gaming experience to be ruined with lag. :)

I've always found NOD32 to be fairly light and unobtrusive. It's put out by a company called ESET if you're interested in checking it out; I pay for mine but it's more to support the company than anything else, the free versions are just as good.

May I ask, where are the free options? I couldn't find them when I visited their site. :/

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

Just download the trial and when it runs out it'll keep asking you to buy it but just ignore it, it'll still protect you.

Windows Defender? I mean it's spyware, but so is any other free antivirus and Windows itself nowadays.

Honestly, It's the best Windows is ever going to make it but I personally think it's not good enough.

It's like most other companies, of course they want you to buy their stuff but as long as you can put up with the constant banners and popups it still works. Or just pay 30 bucks. Like I said, I know you don't gotta pay for anti-virus but I do just because it makes me feel better, regardless of whether it actually does a better job or not ;)
