Do you still get Never Settle?

I purchased the R9-290x off Newegg last night and should be here soon.

 

I am wondering if, once they introduce the never settle games for r9 series, that I will still be able to get the games, even though I bought it earlier.

 

Anyone have any experience with how the 7000 series was handled in this regard, or if they know how it will be handled for r9 series?

 

Or will I just get to pick from the games in the 7000 series never settle?

Right now the bundles aren't available for the new cards but we should be seeing them soon it seems. (https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/66412-amd-never-settle-bundle-coming-to-the-r200-series/)

At least we can hope.

Hmm, perhaps they will add it at a later date to change all the games listed under Never Settle as they are old now.

btw has yours been shipped out yet??  I got one last night finally, thankfully before they all sold out....but I went with the sapphire as the Asus still hasn't been available....and when I saw the XFX sell out quick, I was like "no way im missing out lol" . I would have rather had the Asus. BUt I guess they are all pretty much identical anyways

hopefully its coming from within Toronto, so I could get it tomorrow since I did express shipping.....come ON XPRESSOST!

Yea Im in Toronto,  I contacted newegg about tracking cuz I didn't get any email.

My order is marked as shipped, but they guy told me Purolator didn't pick it up today....so looks like im waiting til Monday.

 

the wait is gonna kill me this weekend.

 

at least I can format, take the 4870 out and have it nice and fresh for monday

I just saw my updated tracking. I had no Idea that it was going to come from the US. Its coming from LA.

I'm actually kinda pissed now, if I had known Newegg.ca was going to ship from the states....I probably wouldn't have ordered from there. I figured they had warehouses in Canada.

If I am going to be charged duties and taxes when I receive it, i'm going to be so pissed.

After spending $700 after taxes ($78ish) and shipping ($22ish) (plus $150 total for the EK block) is enough. If I get charged $80-100+ more when it gets here, i'm gonna freak. it will be totally unexpected.

Especially, if it takes til mid or late next week for me to get it....I might as well have waited and get it from somewhere within Canada (if they have it by then).  

 

hopefully I don't get charged anything....but its all im gonna be thinking about now.

Hopefully Purolator doesn't do it....like those sneaky bastards at UPS and FedEx do...I hate getting stuff from the US from them

Usually you have to pay duties unless it is shipped with usps. Although the size of this is quite small, and I haven't had much experience with Purolator, so heres to hoping you don't.

but i'm hoping its minimized or nullified because Ive already paid taxes on it as I paid through a Canadian retailer and it happens to ship from the US.

Yea was my first purchase with newegg.ca too....

 

of coarse now Canada computers has it listed for 619$..plus save $22 for online shipping....

its out of stock on back order, so I don't even know if they actually put them on sale and they sold out....but could of avoided this duty and extra tax shit...

I would have just got from them if I knew they were gonna list it so quick.....usually they are behind always a week or two....

ncix.ca has it for 599 and its backordered....no idea if they actually had it for sale yet either....would have gone with them too if they had it.

 

if all neweggs stuff comes from the US, I for sure won't be ordering there again unless they got something I can't find anywhere else.
