What are differences between the I7-6700k and the I7-6800k if they're are any? I'm just confused by them.

socket differences (physically), architecture, speed/cores.. no similarities at all other than manufactured by intel.

The 6800 uses the 2011-3 socket and the 6700 uses the 1150 socket. The bigger the number the more expensive and more goober it is.

When in doubt, re-format.
