Hey there! I have only ever used like $6 mice from stop and shop but since I'm building a new PC I think I want a real mouse. Ideally I want to pay in the $20 kinda range. I don't play super competitively but I want a mouse that's good for gaming and would fit my black/red theme. Thanks a bunch!!

I'd wait for Black Friday and pick up something then. Usually peripherals go quite cheap. Maybe spend up to $30? I think that's about what the mouse I got would have cost in the US, and it's an excellent piece of kit.

You interact with it the entire time you use the computer. Investing in something quality is totally worth it.

Just now, OsuMasterz said:

So is any "Gaming Mouse" A few software tweaks, dpi adjustment and you got a "Gaming Mouse"

Not really, a gaming mouse has the performance to go along with it, and not a malfunction speed that is sub 40 ips.

Depends what kind of grip style you have.

I have a Thermaltake Level 10M, and I love it. I think you can get them for $49 usually in the US.

I am a total noob to what is actually important for a good mouse. Any tips on specific things to actually look for or comparable mouses? I use just like a standard regular grip and I'm right handed haha nothing special

Claw or palm?

I claw. Each person is different though as to what they look for in a mouse.
I think some basics are solid build (I like an aluminium base, with a little extra weight), OMRON switches, some kind of soft touch finish.

I'm pretty sure I use like a finger/palm style so something good for that would be great :)

Hmmm. Naos makes some nice ones but I think they're pretty high on the pricey side.

Do you live in a large city? Might be worth checking out Craigslist/Kijiji, I've bought quite a few new in box things off there.
