Hello,

  • I have recently removed all my fans, including my CPU fan and inserted a Cryorig R1 Ultimate to take on the load of the whole PC.
  • The whole PC seems to be cool @ 20-30 Degrees, but the GPU is usually @ 50 Degrees Idle and @ 60-70 Degrees while gaming.
  • Is it safe to say I am having enough cooling or do I have to adjust something?

Any remarks and feedback appreciated.

Wait, what? You removed all your fans?

And what do you mean, you removed the GPU fan? Did you actually remove the fans from the graphics card?

What are your specs?

70c is fine. I would say anything above 80c I would change your cooling setup.

WAIT HOLD UP. You took out your gpu fans?? What the hell?

Yeah those are fine temps for what you're doing. I suspect if you're running the R1 fanless that it will throttle if you stress test though.

wait, so you just have a passive cpu cooler?

Sorry that was a confusion, i mean i removed my CPU Fan, nothing to do with GPU Fan, its GPU Temp.

The temps on the GPU are fine. As for the CPU, run a game, or a stress test like Aida64. If the maximum CPU temp is under 75-80 degrees, you're good.

Just a passive CPU cooler, CPU temps are 30-40 Degrees while gaming.

I did an AIDA64 Test and the CPU Temp got as high as 46 Degrees max, while GPU 80 Degrees am kinda concerned about the GPU temp.

Single Cryorig R1 Ultimate (CPU Fan), No other fans

Oh, ok. We misunderstood and thought that you had NO fans, not even attached to the CRYORIG R1 Ultimate.

The GPU is a little bit hot at 80 degrees. It would probably be best to put in a few case fans.

GPU is fine up til 85C with 90C being really hot. If OP wants to run passive cooled, it will be fine with those temps.

Just look out for longer sessions. As you don't have case fans, hot air will be stuck inside the case and temps will keep on rising slowly. Blower style GPU might do better.
