Hi everyone,

I'm really lost with the whole ProRes on windows thing. I know I won't get native encoding on apps such as Media Encoder or DaVinci Resolve so I'm working on finding workarounds.

Some people suggested me that I should install OSX on a separate SSD in my PC so I can use the same machine to Export my projects in ProRes (Not that I personally want to... But the client... Well the old story...)

MY QUESTION IS:

Will I able to install OSX on my system? I've been researching this and I'm having a hard time making sure. Some people say there is no driver support for the new pascal architecture and others say it should work just fine. Can anybody help me out?

MB: Asus X99 A-II

x2 Crucial 1TB SSD

CPU: Intel i7 5820K

GPU: ASUS Strix GTX 1070 (Pascal)

RAM: 32GB DDR4 Memory

And a good PSU.

What OS should I install? Is there another good option to get ProRes encoding on windows? I Know about Cinec and Plin, but if I have to manually convert already exported files I will use my old MacBook... All input will be appreciated!

Merci!
