Upgrade advice please

my current specs are/

cpu: core i5 6600k

mobo: gigabyte gaming 3 h170

ram: 2x8gb corsair sport

gpu: evga titan black

 

Im trying to stream and record game play, but im noticing a substantial lag and choppiness in my recording. The advice im seeking is would it be enough to possibly upgrade to a z170 mobo and do a generous oc on my i5 to get rid of these frame issues (ideal solution to save a few bucks). or should i just choke it down and look into upgrading to an i7? could i get some pro's and con's perhaps? thank you for your feedback.

The titan black is onlt the equivalent of a GTX 970/1060 dude, it was a great card for its time but is getting a little older now.

the i5 pushes the gpu 100% while only at about 30% load in most cases. its fine in that scenario.
